A Fun Surprise

I decided to make a Peruvian dish for some guests last month (see next post) and for some reason Doug stopped off at the Mexican grocery store on the way home - most likely for some hot sauce to go with the dish. Surprise of surprises he found Inca Kola! I was literally jumping up and down when he walked in the door and showed it to me. It made the meal so complete. This is actually made in New Jersey unlike the type you buy in Peru which really is made there. And since it is marketed in the U.S. it says it is "The Golden Kola" but it is actually "La Bebida del Peru" (the drink of Peru). In case you're wondering it tastes like bubble gum and is really good.
