It's So Good to Be Loved!

Yesterday while we were waiting in the car for Annalisa to get out of school, Alyssa said, "Mommy, I like you a little bit, but I like Daddy a lot!"   And she made sure to drag out "lot" for emphasis.  I was a little shocked, but I admit I started laughing because I was completely taken by surprise.  No worries, Alyssa added on, "Oh, but you're very pretty!"

When I relayed this conversation to Doug he said, "Well, she is your daughter - very honest."
