Top ten things that consume my time currently:
1. Homeschooling a first and a third grader while two little ones destroy the rest of the house. That should be enough said, but I'll throw in a story that is pretty funny to illustrate. Andrew woke up sick today and after lunch took his regular nap. These days his naps only last for about an hour, but that hour is so precious, especially in the afternoon. Anyway, he slept for about 15 minutes today when the UPS guy banged on the door. From the room in the back, it sounded like the door was about to cave in, but alas, Alyssa didn't notice it even though she was only two feet from the door! So, runny-nosed, congested Andrew woke up. I tried all afternoon to get him to go back to sleep. At one point, I actually thought I succeeded in at least getting him to rest on the couch quietly. You would think I was a novice at this parenting thing! Oh no, he wasn't quietly resting. I found him quietly sneaking some food under the table. "What kind of food?" you ask. A big ball of brown sugar. I actually smelled it before I saw it. :)
2. Laundry.
3. Memorizing scripture. I know, I know, you're totally rolling your eyes at this one, but I have been making a concerted effort in this area for the past month.
4. Picking up toys. I don't even do all the work on this one. My kids pick up a lot of toys AND often. I still seem to pick up toys constantly. Did I mention that I think Christmas this year officially sent us over the edge on toys? It's official, we have more toys than we actually have space to store them.
5. Talking. Yep, that's right, I still love to talk, although the competition for output is getting fierce in our home now that we are up to six talkers.
6. Reading. And I still love reading. People always seem to ask me how I find time for reading with my busy schedule. Seriously, I don't think I would still be sane if I didn't read. Reading is a good reminder that there is a great, big world out there and I'm getting my kids ready to face that great, big world.
7. Eating chocolate.
8. Drinking coffee.
And the last two things that keep me busy lately:
9. Homeschooling
10. Laundry
But I think I already mentioned those. ;-) It's a good life. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
And please excuse any mistakes in this post. I don't have time to proofread it. :)

Ha, ha! Loved this post, Anna. Miss you tons!
Thanks for the update Anna. So, I guess I'm one of the two people who still checks your blog occasionally! ; ) That darn social network business! I know that's a big part of what's put my poor little blog page so on the back burner! Maybe you have inspired me to update mine. Just maybe......
