Okay, I am alive and actually quite well. This is going to be a totally random get-it-done-as-fast-as-I-can and write-about-as-much-as-possible post.
First, as far as pregnancy goes, I feel great. I have energy again and the nauseousness is nearly gone - so much earlier than any of my other pregnancies. I don't know what the difference is this time around, but I am just thankful. So is Doug as he comes home to me having actually done something during the day like preparing meals and cleaning. There's a lot of catch up to do, but I feel energized to do it.
Also, just a heads up - I have no idea how much I am going to be able to post and when I'll be able to include pictures since we are on dial-up again. Ugh! Even while in Peru we only were on dial up for a total of about two months, so this is a painful transition. Long story short, outside of those Cricket/Verizon options our only option for high speed is Comcast (we are in a peculiar hub in town) and they wouldn't give us any more deals, so we had to cancel. We just couldn't justify the expense since Doug is no longer using the internet for school or looking for work. Pray that Qwest would get their act together and get our hub connected!
And last week was about the craziest week. Annalisa woke up Sunday night throwing up, Doug was in bed all day Monday, Tuesday night as we were getting ready to go to Annalisa's school Christmas program Andrew started throwing up, and I got on board at 1 am on Wednesday morning. The only reason Alyssa didn't get it was becuase she had had it the week before. Our house was a complete disaster, I'm still trying to get stains out of the carpet, and we finally caught up on dishes over the weekend.
I have one more story to tell about taking Christmas pictures, but I think it needs to be saved for its own post so I can have pictures to go with it. Don't hold your breath; I'll probably get to it once the baby is born.
