It's been a couple or so months since I joined facebook. There are some really good things about it. For example, I've been able to see some current pictures of friends and their families that I wouldn't have seen otherwise. Also, I always seem to have the scoop on certain people that Doug doesn't have. I know, that sounds so lame and wrong, but I have to admit it is true. Doug refuses to join facebook so I always laugh when I say to him, "Did you know so-and-so did...?" and he immediately jumps on the facebook login page and says, "What's your username and password?" So I am finding that if for nothing else, facebook can be good for an easy laugh.
Another funny about facebook - my number of friends. I finally broke 60 this week and made it to 62 meanwhile I can't compare to those who have 200+ or even 300+ friends. But then again, I don't think I really care.
The worst part about facebook is the huge temptation to waste time and knowing where to draw the line on it. I mean is it really important for me to see photos of people that I haven't talked to in over a decade? Or to look at pictures of those I only saw two days ago? Okay, I'm totally rambling now, so I'll just stop.

I understand. I get overwhelmed with EVERYTHING on facebook. For the longest time after I set up an account, I didn't even go there because I couldn't figure it out for one. Sometimes I wonder if the world is just spending more time with those online, than people around them.
