Summer Cooking with the Girls

The girls and I had fun cooking together this summer. Here we are preparing one of our favorite meals: fajitas.

Poor girl hates this job, but she's a good sport.

The blender that our neighbor gave us last year bit the dust, so Doug got this one for me to replace it. He apologized that we didn't have the funds to buy the $125 model! Uh, yeah I think I would be afraid of breaking it - bring on the cheepo model.

The girls helped and we had a great time. They loved using their mini loaf pans, I loved using my anniversary gift (new mixer) and Doug loved the taste. The girls call it Honey Bread since the directions call for honey.
