Easter, 2009

Just two weeks late, here are pictures from Easter.  And if you're Eastern Orthodox, I'm only a week late, so that's not too bad.  WARNING:  Lots of pictures here; I couldn't resist.

Our tradition used to be to get together with my brother and family to dye eggs a day or two before Easter.  Now we just do it on our own, so here are the highlights.

The girls really wanted to curl their hair for Easter (though Alyssa has a little curl to her hair still), so I did it.  Here is before:

And after... and the girls picked out their own dresses and accessories this year:

And my little cutie, who is really, really vain.  Wonder where he gets that from? (Hint: not from his father)

The two men in my life who bring lots of smiles to my face:

And the whole family.  Really this is a miracle shot, especially since Andrew is particular about getting his picture taken alone!

I've been meaning to get a picture with just the two of us for a few months now.

Great pix! I've been waiting to see these. Good one of you and Doug. I have one of you guys from Andrew and Rebekah's wedding. I'll throw it up on FB. Love the girls and their curls - they are too cute in their rollers! And Andrew is adorable. I like the one of him and Doug. He sure has changed, (Andrew that is, not Doug) - he's looking different to me. Who does he look like?

Andrew is changing. He slimmed down quite a bit around a year old, but is eating enough now for himself, me, and baby! :) He's chunking up quite a bit. Sometimes he looks so much like Doug, especially when he smiles with his mouth open. Reminds me of a pic of Doug when he was little. But then when he's just sitting there getting his chunk on, it's like looking at pictures of me when I was a baby. Doug says he has lots of Uncle Dave expressions.

Anna, you look great!

I love the pictures of the girls' hair in rollers. I also love the accessories that they chose (do I detect some stick-on earrings?). =)

Thanks, Anna, I've been looking forward to the easter update! You look beautiful.

The family is here now. We hope mum will have surgery soon and start the chemo treatments ASAP.

Can't wait to see the newest little one! ;-)

We continue to pray for you.
