Going, Going...

I think winter is finally gone here in the Northwest and I am so happy! Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I realize now that we never got much variety in weather. When Doug and I were first married, he would always reminisce about the change of seasons and, I have to admit, I just didn't get it. But now I do. So, I have a few confessions to make. I, who vowed to NEVER live in the snow, actually enjoyed it this year. I, who used to balk at my husband's love for the seasons, now share it. It felt good to tear the plastic off the windows and open them up (we do have double pane, but it helped all the more to have an extra shield this winter). And I was actually sweating yesterday while walking in the sunshine at a mere 70 degrees.
